(Photo source Google) Knit one, Purl one... I have yet to try my hand at Fair Isle patterns but look at those two lovelies parading the latest designs... Enjoy the weekend!
I'd guess they could really do with it! I have a friend who breeds these hardy little ponies and sometimes they are nearly covered in snow. I SUPPOSE they don't mind, but I doubt they could tell us or do anything about it if they did!
We owned a Shetland Cobb pony when the kiddies were small Jenny and I remember the snow on her back! As a photographer you appreciate the intricacy of fitting these two with the jumpers and then pose for it! I should start knitting again and was in fact looking for inspiration...Both the Corgi and the Cat gave me looks...(Guess I shouldn't have told them about this, right?)
Noelle, These knit sweaters look so sweet on these animals. I have always thought it was such a talent when one could knit or crochet. I bet you would be great at it.
I enjoy knitting Sheri but not so much crocheting. That said, my hands are not always willing...then of course I prefer to read...but you did not know that, right?
Lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI could not resist these two, Jo!
DeleteThey are adorable in their cozy sweaters!!

I don't imagine there is much needed for sweaters (for ponies) in your corner of the world Poppy. Any ponies or just donkeys sighted?

DeleteThey have nicer jumpers than me.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
I wouldn't mind having the one on the left Merle...
DeleteDreary and cold here and you are probably hotter than comfortable...
All the best,
How cute! Considering the weather this winter....they probably need these! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo Diane! I was trying to imagine the whole process of putting the jumpers on those two! Great shot!
DeleteCan't beat Shetland knitwear.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Is that so? I am partial to Icelandic or even Norwegian myself!
