Taking with me yet another great quote from your page today. Like them all, but especially the first.
ReplyDeleteI was actually telling myself this morning how much hatred there is all around us these days, not to mention manners being almost nonexistent. When I stop to think of this, and I get more sad than angry, I think of how much it should make us strive all the more to do the very opposite. I know we all have an occasional off day, but in general it is a good goal.
It's always a pleasure visiting with you, Noelle. Glad you enjoyed the music today. ;) And the book in your latest post sounds like a very good read.
Much love,
Marcia
I think I'm going to add that quote to my comment message. Hope you don't mind, but please do not hesitate to let me know if you do.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
These are all great and sensible quotes - but sadly, too often, everyday life these days seems to be devoid of the basic "milk of human kindness". I had to look up that phrase I used as it came to me instinctively but then looked wrong - but it is a phrase from Shakespeare's Macbeth and refers to care and compassion for others.
