Yes, I truly hate goodbyes but there comes a time when nothing else should be said.
I have written and posted over 1230 posts in the years I kept this blog going and above all,
enjoyed meeting the kindred spirits who shared their thoughts and deeds.
Photos are often worth a thousand words I am told and the incredible pictures I have seen on the many blogs I have visited proved it. Thank you all for sharing!!
So this is goodbye...
Life is made of many such moments and while I do not like to admit, the hours are becoming more and more precious as I get (wiser) older. Like many people I find myself facing a few challenges and I value privacy more than anything else at this time.
I wanted to thank each and every person who so kindly visited and commented on posts! I treasure each friendly line!
Winnie said it so much better than I!
God bless,
Oh, Noelle, I am very sorry indeed to hear that. I hope all is well. You will be missed and I hope you reverse your decision in due course! In the meantime, thank you for all your posts - and for your incredibly kind comments on A Bit About Britain. Take care, regards Mike.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to see your blog come to an end, but thank you for it - and enjoy your time doing other things!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to meet you and good luck with your current challenges (and likewise).
ReplyDeleteDear Noelle,
ReplyDeleteJust read your comment on my blog. I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you stop blogging, but I understand. Some things are more important in life. Choices have to be made....
Thank you for your friendship, sweet comments and beautiful post over the years. Because of you I knew where to look for when in the book store! Wishing you all the best. Take care!

I understand Noelle or at least I do to a certain extent. I find myself torn about blogging/Facebook as the years go by. You said it well--the hours do become more precious as time passes.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what challenges you are facing, but I pray God will give you wisdom, hope, peace and supply what is needed.
May He who knows you best bless you always!
Aimee
That is so sad, you are my only corgi owner, I been away from my blog for a few days and nearly missed this post, nice to have known you, but ever now and again just pop in for a visit and leave a comment so then I will know you are ok, all the best.
ReplyDeleteLove Merle.......................
Goodbye, Noelle - we shall miss you. Enjoy those precious hours.....
ReplyDeleteDearest Noelle. Over the past several months, I have found it difficult to keep up with my blog. I also am concerned about the privacy in this big world. I have thought about ending as well. I am quite certain that the day will come sooner than later. You brought us much knowlege and cheer. I wish you the best of life's blessings!

Dear Noelle, I often read & enjoyed so much but did not often comment. I'm sure there are many like me who want to say thank you to you. I am sad you will not brighten our worlds anymore, but understand that real life is precious, and fleeting. Wishing you all the best in everything. Many, many thanks. xxx
ReplyDeleteNoelle,
ReplyDeleteYou will be missed. I loved the beautiful and sincere connection to you, your island life, and to WWII. How you always spoke beautiful French to me when you visited 34th Street.
I no longer blog like I did two years ago. My family, home and garden deserve love and tending. I was given a FitBit by my workplace. It reinforced how sedentary I had become with my time at the computer.
I wish you the best God's blessings from the Pacific Northwest in America.

Noelle, I just wanted to say good-bye to you, my friend. It's hard when one of our friends leaves the blog world, but I totally understand. I have been wanting to take a break for some time myself.
ReplyDeleteI wish you so much peace and joy and love in the new year and always. You were very special to me, and always spoke kind words when you left a comment. I appreciate that so much.
God bless you, Noelle. You deserve all the goodness that comes your way. Thinking of you and sending a big hug.
love, ~Sheri
