Monday mornings on the island are usually very quiet...Visitors have gone on the last morning ferry, earlier than usual in fact, since once more we are experiencing cancellations due to low tides...
A peaceful atmosphere remains...Robins, Chickadees and finches are entertaining us with their songs, the Stellar Jays are calling loudly for their peanuts, the deer are browsing in the garden and due to the night rains everything smells just cleaner and so earthly...
It is still cool though but all windows are opened to let fresh air in...
MacIntosh the Corgi is taking a nap after his morning walk in the rain...He did not relish wearing his coat though however light a drizzle it now appeared to be...No frisbee playing today!
Maira the Cat is sleeping nearby...
House picked up, bed done, dishes cleaned, laundry soaking and now for a relaxing pick me up...A cuppa!
I will be on the morning ferry tomorrow for some (overdue) shopping and to pick up the post on the mainland!
On the agenda for today, preparing a shopping list (any forgotten items means I must wait another 2 weeks), writting mail to send overseas and gather all library material for return...
