"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have
within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the
stars to change the world."
Remember those famous words Merle: "You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one!"
One step a a time Merle, that's all it takes and whilst I heartily agree not all of us are another Harriet Tubman, a smile and a kind word is all it needs to begin with!
P.S. You do that by sharing what is happening in your corner of the world (and I daresay Angus' smile says your are a kindred spirit!). Hugs,
Noelle, First, I want to thank you for calling to my attention the name on my quote, Max Lucado. I wrote it right in my comments journal, but then when I posted it, it came out a different way. I guess I was reading my handwriting incorrectly haha. I'm so glad I changed it.
Secondly, I wanted to tell you that my husband started reading the book you sent me, "Alone, Yet Not Alone" and he couldn't put it down. He really liked it and said that I would enjoy it too.
Lastly, I love this post today. The picture and the words are wonderful. We can all change the world in big ways, and in small ways as well.
Ah well, this laptop of ours has a mind of its own Sheri, you wouldn't believe how jumbled sometimes my writing comes out! Sigh... So glad to know the story was enjoyed! The courage of some people...It makes me feel very small as I wonder if I would have believed enough to trust in Him... God bless Dear,
What wonderfully uplifting and positive words - thanks for sharing them Noelle.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you and yours
Gill xx
I might be a dreamer Gill but I truly believe it can be so!
DeleteHugs,
I do like inspiring words and I'm a bit of a dreamer but changing the world I'm not so sure.
