Whilst on the Continent we celebrate Armistice Day on the 11th of Novembre our Ally across the North Sea have dedicated the second Sunday of Novembre to remember all Veterans.
I wanted to take a moment to share with readers a post that is certain to reach out to many!
Having fought in the trenches for four years my Grand Father never missed a parade along many other "Anciens combattants'. It happens also that today would have been my Grand Mother's birthday! Both are missed very much!
Our remembrance day in Australia is on 11th of November, so this year it was 11.11.11. They will never be forgotten for their great sacrifice...
