Go Ahead! Take Time To Laugh...

Take Time To Laugh!

Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul.

Take time to think, it is the source of power.

Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom.

Take time to love and be loved, it is a God-given privilege.

Take time to work, it is the price of success.

  1. Oh Noelle, I really like this thought. It was greatly needed today. I received your book in the mail and can't wait to start reading it. Thank you for sending it. I know how hard it was with you not having postal service that often.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

    1. Ah well Sheri, we have no USPS here ever so we don't worry! There is a mailbox on the mainland though and hubby crosses with the ferry regularly to check it. I am surprised your book is already there! Hope you enjoy it!

    1. So did I Merle! I have always worked in an office and retired early, the best thing I have ever done!
Dreaming is ALL I want to do!

  6. What lovely words Noelle! Sometimes we just need to be reminded how precious life is and how to simply enjoy the most simple, basic things in life.
I'm a great reader too although I never blog about what I read (would atke too long!), but probably get thru 3 to 4 books a week! Am currently reading Stella Gibbons lesser known novels, written in the 30s, 40s and 50s, She wrote Cold Comfort Farm, her best known work, but her others are pretty good to, especially Nightingale Woods.
Warm hugs from Kent! The apples are nearly all picked in the orchards now, and its very muddy around here with the leaves and acorns falling.......

  7. Cold Comfort Farm was a nifty read! I'll have to check Stella Gibbons' other work, thanks for sharing Gill.
Wish I was in Kent already (perhaps in Spring!),
