Happy New Year to you too, my friend. I am finally getting back to regular blogging. I've posted but visiting has been a little slower. Finally caught up with all my favorites now.
I hope the holidays were magic for you. With our move right in the middle of December it seemed a little less magical than previous years until I put on my childlike glasses and then even our new house (although it's temporary until we find the one we're dreaming of) turned out to be a perfect Christmas gift tied with a big red bow. There are so many gifts around us every day. We just have to open our eyes.
PS-The bookshop in my latest post is not local. It is in Paris. I hope to write more bookshop posts this year and may include local ones as I discover them. If you know of any in your area, let me know and I'll cover them.
Och, Paris? Really? Oh well, still a lovely shoppe and one I would not mind visiting. Come to think of it, I am not surprised thinking of all the little nooks and crannies showcased...Those alcoves smacks of Europe (most of the book shoppes I have visited in the US are a bit sterile! Give me the Bohemian look anytime to inspire me in checking another pile for yet a treasure or two...) Looking still for that prefect abode? All the fun is in the searching, is it not?! Happy hunting Marcia! There is a little Shangrila for each of us somewhere...
Lovely photo - again, a Happy New Year to you! (i'm working my way backwards thru your recent posts that I missed!!!)
